Hello and happy summer! It's hard to believe that school is starting up for so many people, including Emma at Boulder High School - we had a great time photographing her senior portraits and are looking forward to this upcoming weekend when we get to photograph some of her friends. We definitely got a variety of pictures with some fun outfit changes and scenery, and as we photographed on a day sans thunderstorms, we were able to take advantage of Colorado's stunning afternoon and evening lighting. Loving the magenta skirt against the field background and the colors at the barn and old car in particular. Can't wait to see which picture you decide on for the yearbook Emma- best of luck with your senior year, and congratulations to the class of 2012!

Weddings
I was so thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph such a beautiful and wonderful couple- Anna and Brian's September wedding was filled with fun, laughter, and great energy to start off their marriage. Red Rocks is always a stunning location to photograph at and the addition of the vintage red car made for some fabulous images of the bride and groom. I also loved the hair pieces worn by the bridal party- quite a unique look! Just a great time overall- best of luck in the New Year, Anna and Brian!

Happy 2011! How crazy that it's a new year already, where has the time gone?! This means that Sloane and the rest of the seniors we photographed this last season are graduating in a few months. Sloane was great to photograph and work with- definitely a fun variety of images from the barn and field here in Boulder. Happiest wishes for the new year, everyone!

Seniors

It could not have been a more beautiful for Brooke and Chris' fall mountain wedding. The Rockies were colored by the stunning aspen trees, providing a most gorgeous backdrop for the ceremony and moments following. I had such a great time photographing this wedding and am looking forward to more sessions with this couple in the future!

Portraits
Hello all!! We have had quite the editing-filled fall! With all the later summer and fall weddings, senior portraits, and family sessions, there is so much to share. Since the holiday season is upon us, it feels like the perfect way to kick off some fabulous blog posts with a smiley and fun family session! I joined Rachel, Joseph, and their daughter Natalie for a relaxed afternoon filled with jumping in leaves and endless hugs. It was a treat to have Nana in town for this session as well. What a great reminder of what family time is all about- here are some of the session favorites!

Following up on a previous post, here are some images from Matt and Fallon's wedding. While an afternoon shower delayed the ceremony a little, it yielded a colorful rainbow and fabulous clouds at dusk. Everyone was so relaxed and happy- what a great group of friends and family this couple has!

In the midst of editing weddings and engagement sessions, we decided to take a break and post a favorite family session from this past winter. Between playing with Yo-Yos and stuffed animals, rocking out on the guitar, and showing off skateboard moves, Natalie and her boys were busy here at the studio during their family session. The three of them are clearly very close and get along so well- I loved all the laughing and hugs. Thanks for bringing in your wonderful kids Natalie!
