Between playing with Yo-Yos and stuffed animals, rocking out on the guitar, and showing off skateboard moves, Natalie and her boys were busy here at the studio during their family session. The three of them are clearly very close and get along so well- I loved all the laughing and hugs. Thanks for bringing in your wonderful kids Natalie!

We took some pictures at a train yard to start off- how fabulous is Tracy's jacket with the train colors?! It looked just as fabulous when we ventured into some local fields and the addition of their dogs made for just the most relaxed and fun time, despite the rain that made an appearance. Artistic, stunning face painting. Cute, fun-loving kids. In a collaborative effort, I worked with Denise of Dandy Social Club and Leah of Face Fiesta to showcase some wonderful clothes and face painting Monday afternoon. Armed with plenty of snacks, juice boxes, and bubbles, 12 adorable children romped around the park in Boulder, yielding fabulous photos. We made wishes on dandelions, played "red light, green light", and were in rock bands- this afternoon could not have been more of a total blast! A HUGE thanks to the wonderful kids for participating and their patient families and parents for lending them to us for the session.

Starting in the studio was a good way to get some variety for Amy- the backgrounds were fabulous with her outfits. I then photographed her in some Boulder fields and at a rustic barn to get a few natural, earthy pictures. The lighting was gorgeous throughout the whole afternoon and stayed around just long enough to get some artistic shots in some urban, downtown settings. Amy, I had a wonderful time working with you and am so excited about these pictures!
